Natalie & Quentin
From Ukraine to Yucatán: A Dream Wedding at Hacienda Chichi Suarez
Mérida has become a destination for couples who value history, architecture, and light. Natalie and Quentin traveled from Ukraine to celebrate their wedding in Yucatán, choosing Hacienda Chichí Suárez for its presence, symmetry, and sense of place. This wedding reflects why destination wedding photography in Mérida continues to grow among international couples.
The ceremony took place at the foot of the main façade of the hacienda. The architecture framed the couple with clean lines and stone textures, allowing the moment to remain clear and focused. The setting required no excess. The space spoke for itself.
A Private Moment for the Bride
Before the couple session, Natalie allowed me to photograph her in a private space, wearing a delicate lingerie robe. This moment was created only for her. . For me, this is an important part of wedding photography. Creating space for the bride within a day that often moves fast.
Mexican Elegance Through Design
The wedding design was created by Zempiterno. The décor combined Mexican elements with a refined approach. Barro clay vases were used as sculptural pieces, adding warmth and texture. White arches intervened subtly in the space, creating contrast against the historic façade. The result was a balanced aesthetic that felt rooted in Yucatán while remaining timeless.

As a wedding photographer in Mérida, my focus is to document these destination weddings with a documentary and editorial approach. Each story is shaped by the place, the people, and the decisions they make. This wedding honored all three.
