Day 2: A Joyful Haldi by the Beach | Indian Wedding at Hard Rock Riviera Maya

The second day of Raina and Rishi’s Indian wedding at Hard Rock Riviera Maya began with one of the most joyful and vibrant traditions — the Haldi ceremony, beautifully planned by Pride Maya Weddings.

Before the ceremony officially started, we took a few moments to capture an intimate beachside photo session. It was amazing to see Raina and Rishi so willing and excited to sneak away for some portraits by the ocean. Their chemistry, the soft morning light, and the gentle sound of the waves made these moments truly magical.

Then, the real fun began.

The Haldi ceremony quickly turned into a lively, unforgettable celebration. As turmeric was lovingly applied, the energy grew, and before we knew it, water guns came out, soaking everyone — even us, the photographers! Water was everywhere, laughter filled the air, and the pure joy was contagious.

The morning ended in the best way possible: with everyone — family, friends, and newlyweds — jumping into the ocean together. It was a spontaneous, heartwarming moment that perfectly captured the spirit of this celebration: vibrant, authentic, and full of life.
